Who are No Rainbows Without Rain and what do we do?

What is the mission of No Rainbows Without Rain?

No Rainbows Without Rain (NRWR) was registered with the Charity Commission on 06 August 2024 (Charity Number - 120944).

Our mission is to support and uplift our local Cumbrian communities; working for the prevention of, or relief from, the effects of poverty on children, young people, older individuals or individuals with disabilities.

What services do we offer?

We aim to help local families who are in need, are struggling, or have fallen on hard times, by offering a range of services to anyone living within a Cumbrian postcode:

  • Housing essentials: Whitegoods, furniture and household items to those fleeing domestic violence or for individuals who are stuggling to afford these items.
  • Clothing parcels - for both adults and children, including school uniforms.
  • Food parcels - none perishable food items and also cleaning products, toiletries, essential items and even items for your cats/dogs.
  • Children's birthday presents.
  • Christmas presents and Christmas dinners for underprivileged children and isolated older individuals through our annual Secret Santa Cumbria appeal.

But why do we do what we do?

Here's our founder, Rhiannon, sharing her poem as to why we do what we do: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1224985795825009

How can I get involved?

You can get involved by supporting our fundraising programs, donating items for our charity shop and appeals, making a financial donation, attending any of our events, or volunteering your time.

As an independent charity we rely on the support provided by our Cumbrian communities and businesses.
