Due to the huge amount of messages and phone calls we receive to check what items we are accepting we are going to provide a list, in hopes to free some time up from replying to messages/phone calls as we are so busy.
These are the items we are currently accepting:
- Brand new IN DATE non-perishable food items, toiletries, cleaning products or washing detergent for our Community Pantry.
- Brand new gift/toys for Secret Santa Cumbria.
- White Goods - i.e. Washing Machines, Dryers, Fridge Freezers, Gas and Electric Cookers, Dish Washers etc.
- Bedroom furniture - Beds, CLEAN Mattresses, Bedding, Wardrobes, Chest of Drawers, BRAND NEW duvets and pillows.
- Household items - TVs, Kettles, Toasters, Hoovers, Microwaves, Air Fryers, Rugs, Decorative items, Cutlery, Crockery, Blankets/Throws, Decorative pillows, Curtains, Hair Dryers/Straighteners, Coffee Machines, Whisks, Lamps, Pet items, Dining tables and chairs etc.
- Jewellery, Watches, Fascinators etc.
- Push bikes in good condition.
- Electric or manual wheelchairs.
- Sporting or hobby items I.E golf clubs, camping equipment, water sport items, binoculars, fishing equipment etc.
The only clothing we CAN accept currently is MENS CLOTHING including suits, or women’s PROM/WEDDING DRESSES or TEENAGE BOYS clothing.
These are the items we currently are NOT accepting:
- NO women’s, children’s or baby’s clothing.
- NO SOFAS currently as we have a fair few in stock.
- NO TOYS.
- NO used bedroom pillows or duvets.
- NO PRAMS (unless doubles) as we have dozens in stock.
- NO CARSEATS or SAFETY ITEMS i.e. bike helmets.
- NO BOOKS (unless vintage).
- NO DVDS/CDs.
- NO TV stands.
- NO glassware i.e. drinking glasses or mugs.
